I am trying to find a decent computer that will last with the times as I am on a disability budget…. But hoping to use this as a business tool for selling on Amazon …. As well as my love of photos, music and streaming as well as some games. Would appreciate your feedback before I decide to make this purchase . I was also looking at HP and other items that have been refurbished ?

How do i paste that code to get it to print? When i save the file the printer does not recognize it bc its text and not gcode but i cant figure out how to convert file to gcode

I have used this method many times to set properties for certain areas of my model, but it doesn't seem to be working for my current scenario, which is setting the Hole Horizontal Expansion property for a hole in my model. Other properties seem to be working fine, but the Hole Horizontal Expansion property seems to be ignored. My basic goal is to enlarge the hole so that I can insert an axle. If I set the Hole Horizontal Expansion property in the properties of the main model, it does what I want (except of course for the fact that it affects certain other areas that I want to leave alone), so I'm not sure what the problem is. Any suggestions?

Been years since I 3d printed. Dusted the machines off and trying to relearn everything again. Put them away years ago because I couldn't get the print quality I got a single time, it was almost flawless. Hoping for the best here with the profile and just a fresh cura. About to calibrate and print.

This look like my exact issue. I am a Model Train Hobbyist. I have 8 years of CAD in F360 I need to share with the Guys that also work in my scale S. But I did not see how to pick one body out of a complex assembly. Like the Tender Wheel Assembly which has three main parts, Side frame, pivot frame and axle spacer. All 3D Printed and in my Fusion 360 account. With this methos I see I can create a special directory for my Train Parts File, save as Mesh in STL to this directory one part at a time. Then I can send that .STL file to my Thingiverse account for my train buddies to search, find and download as .STL and print. Do i have it correct? I will test this out today. If it works as you describe I will send you a tip $. Thank You so much, I was struggling for some reason. Dennis

At 5:15 you say "Once you've have the whole thing selected then you can scale it down as you can see I have done here". No I cannot see that. You get to the most important part and you don't show how to do it. For us newbies, this is frustrating. Can you please explain how this was done.

Bought my first printer from a guy and he gave me 2 basically identical brandless spools of ABS, 1 brand new and 1 almost used up. I used the latter first and the bed temperature had to stay in 105 for a good result. And when I switched to the other spool, it constantlly overheated so I lowered the bed temperature to 90 and it turned out much better. I suspect these are not ABS at all because I printed them with no enclosure and inside a room with AC and a ceiling fan right on top of where I put the printer, even though it does emmit a not very pleasant odor. I guess if you want consistent results in your prints, stick to notable brands and a certain kind of material.

Hi thanks for this but I have purchased a 0.25mm nozzle and it only shows a 0.2 and 0.3 mm nozzle selection. Do you have that video you mentioned as I cannot find anything in your video listing.. and others have also said the same in the comments... How do I add a new nozzle size to the Cura settings please...

I can't change wall thickness or Top/Bottom Thickness. They're grayed out and stuck at 0.8
